Guides
Guides for mobile tyre and roadside operators.
Working notes on the parts of this trade that are badly documented. We write these because we had to get the answers right to build the product. Where a source is out of date, paywalled or contradicts another, the page says so instead of picking the convenient one.

Wheel retorque after commercial tyre fitting: what UK guidance actually says.
DVSA says 30 minutes standing or 40 to 80 kilometres driven, and that all re-torque checks must be recorded. The IRTE guide notes that some manufacturers do not recognise the 30-minute procedure at all. There is no Construction and Use regulation covering wheel fixings, and the British Standard DVSA cites was withdrawn in 2017. Every claim traced to a primary source.

Proving the job was done: the evidence that actually settles a fleet dispute.
Six disputes a mobile tyre operation will have with a fleet customer, and the evidence that closes each one. Why EXIF metadata is not proof, why the image-to-job link is the weakest part of the chain, and why tamper-evidence and truthfulness are different claims.

Behind the guides
These questions came out of building the product.
Retorque obligations, evidence chains and contract packs are things AxleGrid has to get right. If you have the same problems, the walkthrough will be more useful than another article.
